Dr Bung played for us for our Ash Wednesday Eucharist [2024-02-14]. He arrived in plenty of time to make sure he was fully aware of what was required and to familiarise himself with the instrument. He was most accommodating in checking the tunes required for hymns and the times when I would like him to provide other musical input such as a Gospel fanfare and during the ashing of the congregation. He played both hymns and service music beautifully, supporting singing well, and provided good, wholly suitable music for the times when playing alone. He is a very good organist, a strong accompanier of singing and a very amiable & positive person. Three things that do not always coexist!
