Background: The wedding of Monique and Luke McDonald took place on 7 October 2017 in the 16th century church Igreja de Santa Maria, a National Monument, in Loures (speak 'looresh') north of Lisbon, with rehearsals on 6 October. The church has a glorious Baroque interior. The ceremony was conducted by Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark Kevin McDonald. When it came to the signing of the register, the registry book was not in readiness, lengthy improvisation was required and several spontaneous changes to the subsequent programme occurred.

Klaus agreed to travel to Lisbon to play the organ at our wedding in October 2017 when the local organist was not able to play the songs we wanted.
He was punctual, well prepared and made several ad-hoc changes when a couple of things did not run to plan on the day.
He was courteous and kind as well as reliable.
He has a vast amount of knowledge of different pieces of music.
