The funeral took place on 2 September at the RC Church of St Benet in Abbey Wood, London SE2.

The grieving mother wrote as follows:

Klaus played for Baby Eliora's funeral. She had been in hospital all her short life of only a year and two months. She was one half of a twin and her sister had passed on earlier.

Klaus was happy to fit us in at short notice and even came with his own keyboard.

We are a Catholic/Nigerian family and also wanted an African fusion so he came with a lovely lady (Elizabeth Lubega from Uganda) who did some singing to his tunes.

Everyone in church was in tears for the moving tunes especially when the body was leaving the church and commented on his choice of music and asked for his details.

At the end of the service, he was kind enough to give us a copy of the music pieces to keep, in our baby's memory. Such a personal touch.

Thank you so much for your playing. I hope we can use you again but at a more joyous occasion.
