Note: On Sunday 17 June 2018 the RC Ugandan community celebrated the Feast of the Uganda Martyrs (officially on 3 June) through a mass presided over by Bishop Matthias Ssekamanya. Klaus accompanied the Ggaba Mass and many hymns specific to the Luganda community. There was time for only one rehearsal, on Saturday, 16 June. Afterwards there were joyful celebrations, with home cooked food and Ugandan dancing competitions in the church hall.

On 18 June 2018, Klaus received the following message of thanks from Elizabeth Lubega, the choir coordinator:

'Thank you for all you did yesterday during the mass. I've messages pouring in from choristers in appreciation of your time and input to a wonderful music accompaniment, even though we didn't have enough time to rehearse.'
