Following the resignation of the Organist in Autumn 2010 Dr Klaus Bung played regularly at St Leonard's Church, Penwortham. Following the appointment of a full time Organist he continues to deputise.

Klaus is a fine musician. He is also meticulous in his approach and preparation for playing at 'one-off' services. He is committed to ensuring that he knows in advance what music will be played (setting, hymns, psalms, etc), and has a wide range of voluntaries for playing both before and after the service.

We are always pleased to welcome Klaus to our services.  He is our first port-of-call whenever we need a deputy organist.
